“Valdostanine” Auricchio style

A savory Italian main dish topped with ham and Auricchio and baked in a buttery puff pastry.

  • 1 package mild Provolone cu tinto thick slices
  • 1 roll of ready puff pastry from refrigerator section
  • 6 oz cooked ham
  • ¼ cup milk


  • Spread out the puff pastry on the cutting board leaving it on its paper, cut it in two even sections. Line one half of the pastry with the ham and the Auricchio Provolone. Fold over the other half of the puff pastry on the lined portion and close it up. Press the edges together to seal the pastry.
  • Brush over the surface with the milk. Use a smooth knife blade to lacerate the surface of the pastry so that steam can escape and make cooking easier. Bake in the oven using the original paper around puff pastry. Bake 350°F for approx. 12 minutes. Remove from the oven, cut into servings.
