Provolone Gustoso

Gustoso Provolone is aged for 5 months boasting a milder flavor and softer texture. Produced following our classic provolone recipe, but made with our exclusive “spicy rennet” for a sharp, spicy flavor.

Caciocavallo, which means “cheese on horseback”, gets its name from the manner in which the cheese is always tied together in a rope and dangled over a wooden board to drain and age.

Caciocavallo makes the perfect appetizer, serve it chunked with salami and olives. Enjoy is sliced on bruschetta with marinated tomatoes and herbs. Serve it with a robust red.
